I finally went to see what the hype was about and I can’t say I was impressed. The service/wait time was ridiculous. We wait over an hour to receive our food and once we did the portions were underwhelming. The wings were snack size and the French was small. Everything was good, but not worth an hour plus wait for what you get. I ordered chicken wings, French toast, eggs and 3 mimosas (all 3 drinks were free by the way because of how lengthy the wait was). The atmosphere was nice. Everything was clean and there’s ample space. The DJ was also on point. It’s definitely a brunch spot if that’s what you’re going for. Just prepare to wait, so get a snack before. My check was around $28-30. I don’t think I’ll be back for food, but the ambiance wasn’t bad.

Visiting Dallas and found the perfect brunch spot. Our sever Denaisha was friendly checked in multiple times and was prompt with our food orders and drinks. ask for her :) Hip hop and r&b music was played and created the vibe that we are looking for a weekend brunch. Food was well seasoned and I would recommend the breakfast potatoes and salmon and grits. Food was served hot. 10/10 recommend overall. For parking it’s valet only.

The atmosphere here was great! The gumbo was awesome! However, we left the lemon pepper wings because they were too salty to eat. The service we had with Kayla was terrible. We did not receive utensils when we were seated. When we asked for utensils, we were given plastic spoons, forks, and knives. So we had to eat with the spoon from our gumbo. I had to track down the waitress and ask for a refill. Not once was anyone at the table offered a refill. When asked for Togo boxes she only brought 1 when ask for 2. So we ended up leaving the food that we were going to take with us. I think is Ludacris that you get charged a service fee for using your card, and then 20% gratuity when service wasn't great.

If you get a server name Blair ask for a new one …. We were the first ones there and the tables all had crumbs on them and the floor looked like it was cleaned with a dirty mop. I wanted to go but it was my hubby b day and he said let’s just chill, there is no parking so you are forced to pay and that is no where on the website or menu… our waiter never came to the table and two times she did I had to go get her.. they mandate a 20% tip for all parties because the service is terrible..her teeth look so bad almost ruined my food. The food and d j were the best parts.:. When we asked about drinks she said look at the menu we have coke products I showed her the menu and none was listed .:: this place need a lot of work…. Save your money and go else where

Everything at Local Tap & Table is TOP TIER! Food, Service, and Staff is AWESOME! Liz our waitress made sure we were okay and delivered top notch service. The manager came to our table multiple times to check on us to make sure we were ok. Our waitress explained the bill and gave us time to prepare to pay with no rush! The atmosphere and vibes are amazing. Definitely will visit again!

So we waited 2 hours to be seated and others were seated before us . The service was okay but not the best . The food portions were extremely small for the price of the food . But overall the atmosphere was great ! .

We went on a Friday and the only thing disappointing is that the full brunch menu is not available. There were a lot of food items we wanted to try but was told we would have to come back on Saturday or Sunday. So, keep that in mind if you are going for brunch. However we did sample a lot of other items and I must say it was 10/10 especially the tacos and drinks. We will return on a Saturday or Sunday.

The only thing this restaurant has is a good Dj. The wait is over a hour at 12pm. They’re extremely unorganized. On top of the hour wait we also waited an hour for our food. Drinks are over priced. We paid 48 dollars for 2 lamb chops and shrimp and grits. Over seasoned food. It’s so many things I can complain about it’s sad. I absolutely will never return. 150 on nothing .Never again will I support blacks! It’s more of a lounge.
